Not to be confused with Thomas.
Thomas (トーマス) is a minor character in Suikoden III.
Thomas is from the small village of Nor. One day, Juan, the bujutsu teacher of Budehuc Castle, came to Nor to get some rest away from the castle and happened to tell young Thomas about his own martial arts feats and how he killed a tiger on Mt. Hei-Tou. Impressed and excited by Juan's story, Thomas quickly departed to see if there were such beasts over there, and failed to come back at night. His mother, worried, came the following day to nearby Budehuc to check if Thomas was playing there, since it was a favourite usual hobby of his. But unfortunately, no one there had seen the young boy.
Upon hearing the whole story from Juan, Thomas, master of Budehuc, set up a search party and left to investigate on Mt. Hei-Tou. After some searching, they finally found the scared little Thomas, on the verge of being attacked by a menacing wild boar. Thomas and his entourage quickly defeated the monster and brought the boy back to his mother, who was still waiting at the castle.
Glad and thankful, Thomas' mother bowed several times before the people of Budehuc and said to her son that she expected him to grow up to be just as great as Thomas, master of the castle.
