Trading in Suikoden II is a good way to earn money, but is also part of the requirement to recruit Gordon.

Route to Earn 50,000 Potch (For Recruiting Gordon)

This route goes through Crom Village, so it can be used from the late stages of the game.

Estimated Time Required: Around 15–30 minutes

Steps:

1. Start by depositing all items into the warehouse.
   • If the warehouse contains any Celadon Urns, withdraw them all before following the trade route.
   • Celadon Urns can be obtained at a low drop rate from the BonBon, Flyer enemies.
2. Fast travel to Banner Village, cross the mountain path to Toran, and head to Rokkaku Hamlet.
   • At Rokkaku Hamlet's trading post:

     • Note: Rare items may be out of stock. If unavailable, proceed to the next step.
3. Walk from Rokkaku Hamlet to Gregminster.

This recommended money-making route after liberating headquarters focuses on trading Ancient Text, Crystal Ball, and Deer Antler, which have high individual prices. If successful, this method yields substantial profits.

However, due to the limited stock of these rare items, earnings may not always be stable. It is best used as a side activity rather than a primary income source.

Additional Tip:

• Crystal Ball is always profitable when sold in Kobold Village, so make sure to buy it whenever you find it outside of Kobold Village.
