Originally, The United Kingdom of Ritterschild belonged to another world, but after its world was destroyed by The One King, The United Kingdom of Ritterschild merged with the current one, along with its Chronicle, the "Fierce Regalia." As is true with other countries originating from different worlds, its people forgot their original world, their memories replaced with the belief that they had always been native to this one.
