Perie Forest ~ Tios Fortress Ruins[]
Head to Hodos Village and ask Wafdi to plant a sapling.
Head to Perie Forest next. Shortly after entering you will be forced into an event battle. Head in a little farther and fight another. Hermione will join you here.
Next, head to Tios Fortress Ruins. If you want to make recruitment of a character easier, before you go, strengthen at least one character’s weapon to its strongest at the weaponsmith. Go to the very back of the second screen and you will meet Zephon in front of the Tree of Ages. He will ask for the Precious Orb, the thing he gave you at the beginning of the game. Regius will try to ask some questions, but Zephon will deflect. When the Hero says he needs that orb, Zephon will say you don’t. Go back in time.
After the scene with Zephon, move in a little farther and see another scene with Berenice and Warg. They won’t have any new information to give you, but they can teach you their skills. Bring Myura and either Ducas or Hermione (your choice). If both Ducas and Hermione are in your party then Ducas will receive the skill.
You will be taken to the area with monsters. Fight until you receive the skills, but make sure to fight the Unicorn Tigers here at least once so they will be added to the Dungeon. Also don’t forget to grab the dance shoes from the chest.
After you receive both skills you will see some more scenes. Once you are finished head to the Tree of Ages and you will be stopped by Lujin. She will want to give you a present, but you will tell her you can’t bring it back. So she will bury it in front of hut in the northwest corner of the fortress.
Go back to the present and see that there is a hole beside the tree. Move a little and you will see a scene with Folune. She is looking for what Lujin buried for you. Take her to the spot (it is an area where the walls are a little crumbled but you should be able to find it. A scene will start once you are there). After a scene she will join you. You will get: Beast God Long Sword, Strong Star (ring), Mega Medicine (x5), Mystic Medicine (x3).
Go back 100 years to the past and do some recruiting. First talk to Lujin twice. She will pass her skill to Najin. Next talk to Tsuomujin (The older man). Talk to Chamjin who is standing nearby, two times. The second time she will talk about Tsuomujin, her father. Talk to Tsuomujin again. Chose whoever you want to bring, it doesn’t matter. Talk to Chamjin. If your weapon isn’t at its max, you will need to go back to your HQ and improve your weapon. Otherwise you will get the skill from Tsuomujin. After getting the skill, go back and talk to Chamjin. Nido will get her skill (the scene with him, Chamjin, and Ilia is….. interesting).
When you leave Regius will say he wants to confirm your next moves. You will next want to move to Apiro Hill. But first go back to your HQ. Gino will say they found a strange stone and put it will be in the room where you can see the older movies and the monsters. It is the tablet of the stars.
Now, go back to Tios Fortress and talk to Berenice. She will say that someone else who used the Blue Flash Style was fighting with them and is now in Perie Forest. Lujin will plant the sapling for you. Go there and talk to Mazarica and Nima. Chose the second option when presented. Mazarica will join you so you can learn her skill. As soon as you learn it she will leave the party. Go back to her spot and talk to Nima twice.
Apiro Hill ~ Giant Monster's Remains[]
Go back to the present and head to Apiro Hill. When you enter you will enter into a battle with Zaveed and some Telluspharma, but the battle will end after two turns as Jagwan will appear. Watch the Scaled Horde fight Zaveed. After they leave, head to the exit (there is a chest in this area near where you watched the scene) and see Jagwan there. Appraoch him and watch another scene. He will tell you that a human female entered the desert alone. He wants you to go get her.
But instead, first, let’s get some new members! Go back to Tios Fortress (100 years ago) and talk to Lujin. She will tell you about a musician that fought with them. After witnessing so much death during the war he doesn’t feel like making music. She asks you to bring a musician to meet him.
Put Meamei in your party and go to Apiro Hill (100 years ago). Approach the hut (in the alcove near the Tree of Ages) and watch the scene. Talk to him again and Meamei will play the song she learned from Cucabra (the song you found in the hidden room in the Ice Cavern). Cucabra and Sohrab fought together as musicians during the war. He will want to write a new song, so go back to your HQ and rest at least three times. Before heading back, make sure that Bordon is in your party as well as Meamei. (You may want to add Modi as well since he will be added later anyway).
Talk to Sohrab again and he will play his new song. Meamei will learn it. Now talk to Bertha twice (if Bordon is in your party). Now go and fight until Bordon learns the skill.
Move to Apiro Desert. If Modi isn’t in your party he will run after you. Move to the middle of the area and you will find Sunil. She is the wife of Modi’s former apprentice and came to get medicinal herbs. Watch another scene once you near the exit.
Enter the Giant Monster's Remains and watch a scene with Jagwan. Follow him and talk to him again. He wants to get rid of the Scarlet Axe as well but he doesn’t know where they are hiding. Now talk to Gombosuren who is standing at the other corner of the camp. He is looking for a good bone to make some armor. He asks you to bring him some.
Head to the eastern area here and you will find it near the chest with the Carnelian Ring. Bring him the bone and he will join you. Once he decides to join you, he will inherit the skill from the bone. Since you want to know more about the bone and the person who made it, go back to Tios Fortress and speak to Berenice and Warg. They mention two armorers that worked with them, but neither used bone. Berenice suggests going to the area in the past, but Warg doesn’t think you will find anything. Eventually, Warg will agree to plant a sapling there for you.
When you arrive in the past Warg will tell you that there was already a Tree of Ages there, but it wasn’t there a month ago. The Hero will remember that Torwald also said the same thing when you first met him. While you are talking Zephon will appear. He will say that this tree must be older than 100 years, but even he is not clear (or won’t say) more about it. He suggests using it to go back to the past. Warg will say that he wants to go back with you, but he can’t.
Once in the past you will meet Astrid with Maximos Zafir and Radneen. After some talk you will ask what the Telluspharma really are. They won’t believe how little is known in the future, and she will ask if you really want to know. Give Maximos a sapling and they will plant it in Apiro Desert for you. When you go back Warg will leave for Tios Fortress saying he will plant his sapling in the Desert for you.
When you arrive in Apiro Desert (100 years in the past), the Hero will notice that there is only one tree. It looks like they planted the tree in the same spot. Go back 100 more years and meet Astrid. Watch the scene. Astrid will open a hole in the barrier and show you the outside world.
After talking with her you will be back in the present. Zephon will come up and join you.
You will then be back at the Lake Fortress to tell everyone what you learned. Regius will say he has a plan to deal with the Scarlet Axe so you can focus on learning more about what happened between Astrid’s time and Torwald’s time.
Recruitment[]
But first, let’s recruit a few characters. First, put Myura in your party (you can take Zephon instead if you wish for an extra scene but in the end you will need Myura), and talk to Astrid at Zephteros Fortress. She will ask about the dagger that you (and Torwald) have. It belonged to her, so at some point she must have given it to one of your ancestors. She says this makes her happy, and then she asks if you have a magician among your friends. Myura will appear and say that she and the Hero are like siblings when asked. Astrid wants to teach her something, but first she wants to see Myura’s skill.
Myura will be forced into a fight with a Tellus Prova. It’s fire based so you should be able to kill it with two hits of your most powerful spell using an ice magic stone. You will receive Astrid’s skill, and she will tell you that others around the fort may be able to help you.
First off, talk to Sau Jin. He is the man in green standing near the Tree of Ages. Watch the scene with him and learn a little more about the Kutan People. Then talk to him again and he will say that he doesn’t have any skills to pass now, but he will leave stones with engravings on them for you.
Before using the tree, talk to Sou Jin (standing near Sau) and Suu Jin (standing on the eastern screen). To recruit Sou Jin you will need to stay at the HQ at least three times. So, go back and stay for three nights. Then go back to Zephteros Fortress and talk to Sou Jin.
Now go to the Desert Fort Ruins. In the area with the Tree of Ages, you will find a stone slab with a glowing blue orb left by Sau Jin. It will be near the vitality herb, near a broken column or wall. You can choose who to inherit the skill if you have both armor smith.
Now head to the eastern area. The Hero will realize that since there is no water he may be able to find what Suu Jin lost. First, inspect the glowing blue orb on the stone slab near the entrance and get Sou Jin’s skill. The Hero will say that the reason these skills were not known until now is probably because the Hero has changed history by going to visit and talk to the people in the past. For the Hero these people seem to have done their best to develop new skills.
Head to the back side of the hole (near the Scaled Horde enemies, and where Suu Jin was standing in the past). There should be a glowing orb on the corner (you may need to change the camera to see it). It seems to be damaged and the Hero worries that it will make Suu Jin sad. So go back to the same spot in the past and check (there are some plants growing there). Now, go back to the time of Torwald and find Suu Jin’s stone slab near where you found Sou Jin’s.
