Bayan Oasis ~ Pefto Ruins[]
With this recruiting run done, time to continue the story. Visit Torwald Albarek at Lake Fortress 100 years in the past. You will tell him and Rolf Raug what you learned. Rolf will suggest talking to Nelvaan, who was a magic stone craftsman that fought with them. He wanted to become a magician so he secretly researched and read some banned books. Even though Rolf asked, Nelvaan would never tell him anything. Rolf tells you that Nelvaan is in the eastern part of the Desert Fort Ruins. Rolf says that if you mention their names he may talk to you. Since you are from the future he may tell you things that he didn't tell his friends because he won't have to worry about what Aionia would do.
When you go back to your HQ, Regius will be there. You will tell him what you learned, and he will tell you that the Scarlet Axe are near the desert. Go and talk to Nelvaan. He will tell you what he learned about Aionia and why no one knows about the barrier, which is why several places wanted their independence.
As soon as the conversation is over, you will be in the present and forced into an event battle with some Scarlet Axe members. You will try to tell them what you know but they won't listen.

Time for some more recruiting. Go back and talk to Nelvaan again. Folune, who read the book that he wrote, will be there. They will talk about his research, and he will pass his skill to her.
Next go to Tios Fortress and talk to Warg. He will say that his friend was the chef at the fortress, but after the war he went home to work in the fields. The next time he meets him, he will ask him to leave a recipe for you. Go back to the present and look on the wall almost straight across from the Tree of Ages. You will see something engraved there. You can select who you want to read it.
Next go to Zephteros Fortress (200 years ago). Talk to Chiaro who is standing near Sau Jin. Talk to Sau again twice and he will tell you about a guy who is a pain. Chiaro will take the sapling to plant it at Tios Fortress. Go there and approach Chiaro and his father Odo. They will talk about Ketil who may be in Martyrion. It is impossible to plant a sapling there, so Chiaro will go and talk to him. Head to Zephteros Fortress and talk to Chiaro there. He will say that Ketil didn't believe him or want to go anywhere. Go back to your HQ and Sunil will talk to you. She will say that she found something in her bags that is from her ancestors, but she doesn't remember it at all. It will be something left by her ancestor Ketil.
Go back to Tios Fortress and talk to Odo (200 years ago). He will pass his skill to one of your medicine makers (if you bring Nido he will remark that it is possible they are related). Then, go to Zephteros Fortress again with either Ilia Barukai or Modi in your party. Talk to Chiaro to learn his skill (the reactions from both are pretty funny, so you may want to have a save state and see both).
From here, head to the eastern part of the Giant Monster's Remains. You will see a member of the Feather Tribe surrounded by Scarlet Axe members.

The Feather Tribe member is Gijellega who is a student of Regius. You will take him to Bayan Oasis and Sunil will be there. She came to pick up some things from her house. Gijellega will tell you that he heard some members from Aionia (The Pinnacles) were meeting with the Scarlet Axe. He tried to listen in on the meeting but was caught.
Regius recommends talking to the people in the city, so do that. You will meet Ephil, Sunil's sister at the equipment shop. Agree to buy her arrow and she will join you. After you talk to everyone and Ephil joins, you will get a letter from Aaron. He wants to meet with you in the Pefto Ruins.
As soon as you enter the ruins Rochel and some Scarlet Axe members will meet you. She will greet you and say that you can meet Aaron at the back of the ruins. But you must fight your way there. There will be a battle with some Scarlet Axe members here.

This first area is pretty straightforward. There is one dead-end guarded by some Poison Ninja with a Silver Ring. You'll find a medicine in another chest nearby.
The next area is very twisty, but still straightforward. At the first fork, head right. You'll find a Sapphire in a chest at the dead end. In a more open area head to the left side. In a dead end on the bottom side you'll find some Vitality Herbs. In the northern end you'll find a blue orb. You will learn Kelsius's skill here if Regius or Gijellega are in your party. (If both are you in your party, Regius will inherit the skill). Near the exit there will be a chest with Sandstorm Tonfa inside.
The third area is pretty straightforward as well. After you fight the first enemy you meet, keep heading straight and grab the mega medicine from the chest. If you are low on HP you may want to heal before heading back to the fork. You will be forced into a fight with three different Telluspharma after this, but they are not too strong.

In this wide area, head to the left (west). Both sides will lead you to the next area, but there is a chest near the exit on the left side.
The fourth area is really simple. Whichever entrance you used, head to the left side and grab the Silver Lyre from the chest. Make sure you are healed before moving up the stairs on the other side of the dried up fountain because there will be another battle with a large Tellus de Grago after you meet Aaron. He will ask for your help in defeating the rest of the Aionian forces. You will tell Aaron what you learned from Astrid, but he won't change his mind. Rochel will release the Tellus de Grago.

You will go back to Bayan Oasis and be greeted by Ephil. She will suggest introducing you to Quinelia Lewis,
the leader of the 2nd Branch. Ephil has a working relationship with her and can help you meet her.

Akrites Great Wall ~ Akrites[]
Go to Akrites Great Wall and you will be allowed in.
Leave this first room the way you came in. In an area just around the corner from the soldiers you will find a Silver Spear. In this first room pick up the Silver Blade on the right side of the entrance and the Aionia Ring in the back left corner. Leave through the exit closest to the Aionia Ring chest and you will be outside again. Grab the Mystic Medicine from the chest and leave the area.
Go to Akrites. You will meet Ristil and Lascaris Lewis. After speaking with them you can do some shopping if you want (you may want to upgrade your weapons and equipment here). Now, go to the headquarters of the 2nd branch and talk to Quinelia Lewis. She will want to fight with you. Tell her to wait a moment.
Go to Zephteros Fortress (200 years ago). Head to the eastern area and talk to Jandac, the Scaled Horde you see in front of the wall beside Suu Jin. One of your chefs will teach him a recipe, and he will teach them one in return. Before heading back you may want to save since you will have a few battles coming up in a row.
Talk to Quinelia Lewis again. Say you are ready and start planning. Then you will see a scene of a soldier coming to report that the Telluspharma have appeared. Watch the scene of the Scarlet Axe and the Telluspharma coming to attack the wall. You will jump in to a battle to save Lascaris Lewis.

Then you will be forced into a battle against Zaveed and some Telluspharma.

After defeating him Rochel will retreat. Watch some more scenes. You will rest and then meet Numistro. Talk to Quinelia and Makia Zafir will also appear to thank you. After the scenes Regius will say he wants to check on something and wants to borrow Gijellega.
Leave the city and Lascaris Lewis and Ristil will ask to join. Before heading back to your HQ go to Apiro Desert and visit 100 years ago. There will be a soldier standing near the middle. Go near him and watch the scene. You’ll find him again near the Tree of Ages. Talk to him again and he will introduce himself. Speak to him again. Make sure Lascaris Lewis is in your party and talk to Yaguas one more time. He will finally believe you (and Warg) about using the Tree of Ages to travel through time. He will agree to teach Lascaris his skill. Put him in your party, set the formation, and fight some of the nearby enemies until he learns the skill (it shouldn’t take long, maybe 3 times).
Go back to your HQ. In the morning, Myura will tell you that the Tree of Ages at Telbe Village has disappeared. Watch the scene in the village. Lulusa will say that the memories of people change when things change due to the Tree of Ages. But what happened to the tree is mystery. Upon returning to the HQ, Gijellega will be there reporting about Aaron. Regius wants you to meet up with him at Akrites Great Wall.
Once you arrive there, Regius will tell you he heard rumors that Aaron was heading towards Mt. Pregate, where the Holy Aionian Empire keeps a lot of secrets. While you are talking Zaveed will show up. Eventually he will reluctantly agree to go with you, rather than on his own.
