Woodpecker (キツツッキー; Kitsutsukkii) is an enemy in Suikoden II.
Description[]
Don’t be fooled by its cute appearance! A bird shaped-monster found during the Dunan Unification War, at first glance it may seem cute, but if you are not careful, it may cause you to become Unbalanced. While it may be a bird-style monster, its wings are very small and not fit for flying, so it is thought to have walked on the ground. It mostly lived in the area around the path to Tsai’s house, and killer crystals were sometimes found near places where they were defeated.
It is a yellow bird with big eyes. After flying up into the sky, it will peck at its target several times with its beak. It seems to be a weaker version of the Kookaburra that appears later in the game around Greenhill City. It can do a short-range attack against one party member which can cause unbalance, or a long-range attack against one party member.
